It’s a marketing scheme.

This post also applies to shaving creams, toothpastes, pens, and so on – products that seriously do not require marketing for a specific gender, but consistently are packaged as “for men”, or “for her”. Because, sure, that’s pink razor marketed towards a female demographic is pretty cute, but it’s also expensive – or, at least, more expensive than the male blue razor next to it!

Men’s razors get a closer and cleaner shave for a better price. My suggestion? Use them!
